Tom Hanks Fact of the Day 3

Because Tom Hanks seems to believe that there was no significant moral difference between America and Japan during world war II, (in fact he seems to think that Americans were driven by racism) here is another installment of the Tom Hanks fact of the day:

Fact of the Day: In early 1942, somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 Singaporeans were murdered in the The Sook Ching Massacre. Before invading Singapore, the Japanese High command planned to get rid of the ethnic Chinese among the population. After they took control, the bloodletting began.
