The New York Times is hailing Obama for his week of “victories”.
Among those “victories” is the firing of General McChrystal.
So let me get this straight: Obama fires the general that he selected, a general who voted for Obama but now thinks his entire administration are a bunch of incompetents. And instead, he selects George Bush’s general, the man Obama kept insisting ran a failed surge.
Sounds like George Bush’s victory, not Obama’s.
Oh, and by the way. Guantanamo is expected to remain open at least to the end of Obama’s term.
And no, major terrorists such as KSM are not going to be given civilian trials in New York.
Yep, that all sounds like Bush’s victories to me.
