When the Republicans were in power, the filibuster was described by the Post as a noble thing; they even claimed the founders designed the Constitution to allow for the fillbuster, so no legislation would pass over the objections of a minority.

This was utter rubbish. The filibuster is not in the Constitution at all. It was developed long after the adoption of the constitution, once political parties got started.

But now, things are different, They no longer call it a filibuster. Now they call it “GOP stalling tactics

The political reality is that to get a bill Obama needs Republican support, mostly in the Senate, where Democrats fall short of the 60 votes needed to overcome GOP stalling tactics.
