It looks like Mel Gibson might not be a bad guy after all. He is definitely a bad drunk, though. He appears to be a dirty, foul, disgusting, women beating drunk. If he can stay away from the booze, he might have some sort of decent life. Gibson has decided to sell all of his U.S. properties and return to Australia.
It sounds, more or less, that he is going back to his ex-wife, and his family.
A source close to the family said: ‘Oksana’s allegations have united Mel and Robyn and this move is her idea.
She is shocked and furious at this woman’s lies and their seven children are shocked. ‘Robyn has never seen a violent side to him. ‘She has persuaded him that he needs to get away from Hollywood and find peace on his ranch and she will go with him along with some of the children.’
A friend of Miss Grigorieva said: ‘Oksana has done nothing but tell the truth.’
Gibson and Robyn divorced last year just weeks after he was pictured for the first time with Miss Grigorieva.
When he gets drunk, he becomes a vicious individual. That has to stop. You can guess that the drinking really led to the divorce in the first place.
However, he may be hot-footing it out of the country to avoid prosecution, or to make prosecution harder. And never underestimate the ability of a Hollywood publicity machine to smooth over bad behavior. This thing has a long way to play out. Selling multi-million dollar properties very quickly like this is suspicious.
UPDATE: No, he’s not leaving America:
While Mel Gibson’s world seems to be imploding around him, it’s business as usual for the actor, who is at work on a film and has no plans to vacate the country.
On Sunday, the Daily Mail alleged that Gibson would be fleeing to Australia, the country to which he and his family moved when he was 12. But Gibson’s rep Alan Nierob confirms that Gibson is planning on staying put in the U.S., saying, “there’s no truth to the Mail story.”
Gibson, who is in a bitter custody dispute with his ex Oksana Grigorieva and is believed to be the man threatening Grigorieva on leaked tapes , is continuing to work amid the controversy.
His rep also confirmed that Gibson “did shoot in NYC two weeks ago,” for his upcoming film, “The Beaver.” That shoot took place after the July 1 release of the first tape, and overlapped with the time period in which Grigorieva filed a domestic violence complaint against Gibson, and Gibson was dropped by his talent agency, William Morris Endeavor.
UPDATE: Stupidest Mel Gibson scandal commentary of all time. And yes, by “bottom”, she means rear end.
On the one hand, Gibson’s excellent bottom has appeared – sometimes clothed, sometimes not, always great – in such cinematic classics as “Lethal Weapon,” “Lethal Weapon 2,” “Braveheart” and “Lethal Weapon 3,” and America loves Gibson’s bottom like it loves a treasured pet, or a treasured loved one, or the treasured round and shapely bottom of a treasured loved one.
