Geez. Now Everyone Is a Racist, Even If They Only Report What Obama Did.

I think President Obama is now a racist, under Howard Dean’s standard.

The Fox News Channel’s handling of the Shirley Sherrod controversy “was absolutely racist,” former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean charged on Sunday.

Appearing on “Fox News Sunday,” Dean, who’s also a former Democratic national chairman and hero of liberals, asserted Fox News failed to vet video footage of a speech misleadingly excerpted to make it appear that Sherrod was boasting of using her post as an Agriculture Department official to discriminate against a white farmer.

“I don’t think Newt Gingrich is a racist, and I don’t think you’re a racist,” Dean told Fox News host Chris Wallace, “but Fox News did something that was absolutely racist. They took a – they had an obligation to find out what was really in the clip. They had been pushing a theme of black racism with this phony Black Panther crap and this business and this Sotomayor and all this other stuff.”

Fox news did something that was racist?

Let’s review: Black Panthers can stand in the entrance to polls and wave billy clubs around on election day. When you complain that the administration refused to do anything about it, you become a racist.

Judge Sotomayor says that being a Latino woman makes her better than white men, and you complain about it, you become a racist.

They made a mistake. A reasonable one, given that this woman went on for over 5 minutes talking like a racist. If you don’t make it clear you are not a racist until the 20th minute or something, excuse me if people think you’re a racist. So, she corrected the record, and Fox corrected theirs. Big Deal.

After all, it was OBAMA who fired the woman without giving her the chance to explain herself. Under Dean’s terms, that was sort of racist, wasn’t it?

When Wallace interrupted Dean to point out that Fox did not air the excerpted Sherrod footage until after the Obama administration had fired her based on it (the excerpts were featured on Fox News’s website prior to her firing), Dean shot back “It was about to go on Glenn Beck, which is what the administration was afraid of.”

In other words, Dean did not respond to Wallace’s point. He changed the subject.

And Dean mildly rebuked the Obama administration, as well, saying, “We’ve got to stop being afraid of Glenn Beck (a Fox News host) and the racist fringe of the Republican Party. But Fox News was not blameless during this. You played it up.”

Dean dismissed Wallace’s point about timing, asserting “you didn’t do your job,” and charging that Fox News has helped the Republican Party foster racism by focusing on allegations of reverse racism.

So why isn’t he yelling at the Obama adminstration for “not doing their job”. In America, you get a hearing before you lose your job usually. Why isn’t he yelling at the NAACP for not doing their job. They had access to the full tape, and they still condemned the woman for being a racist.

It’s seems to me that everyone needs to be yelled at, but especially the administration. So they are that scared of Glenn Beck? If so, they should not be running the country.

Get used to more flippant accusations of racism.  When your party is in the middle of trying to destroy the country, what else can you do? You play the race card over and over again. It’s the only arrow in your quiver, and it ain’t even in your quiver, if you know what I mean.
